Wentworth Falls flies home to defy big prices in running

Wentworth Falls defied a high of 680 in running on Betfair when springing a 33-1 surprise in the 6f handicap at Doncaster.

The outsider denied those who had forced 13-2 joint-favourite Muntadab to a low of 1.24, while Ninjago caught the eye with a strong late finish but couldn't reward backers who took 1.6.

Archippos touched 200 on his way to a 20-1 victory in the Choose Fitness Handicap at Doncaster.
