Pair Of Jacks has quickly dropped back to the same mark as when winning at Cartmel in July and with his trainer's horses running better than they did throughout August and September he's worth backing to go in again.

The eight-year-old ran poorly on his next two starts - although the second of them was a good deal better than the first - but Malcolm Jefferson's horses generally ran poorly at that time and since September 30 he's had a winner, five seconds and a third from his seven runners, so all seems well now.
