Spin Doctor looked a fair early sort when a course-and-distance winner on her debut in May from the more experienced and now 98-rated Rapacity Alexander, but after a fine third in the Hilary Needler next time things have not gone so well.

The daughter of Mayson was tailed off in the Albany at Royal Ascot and again in a big-field nursery at York, but she showed a lot more when finishing midfied at Ayr in the middle of last month and might be on the way back now.
