Warwick Placepot picks: Tom Collins selects three bankers in his 12-line perm

French import Hartur D'Oudairies will be all the rage for the powerful Dan Skelton team in the opening 2m novice hurdle (12.00) at Warwick.

He may well justify short odds, but the form of his bumper win is yet to be tested and it could be wise to leave him off the Placepot perm. Instead, go for the solid options in Ffos Las third Let's Have Another and course winner Sidewaysinmilan.

The Venetia Williams-trained Fontaine Collonges, who will be hard to knock out of the frame in the 2m4f mares' novice chase (12.30), is the first of three bankers on the card. Stepping up in trip is the key to her.

She is swiftly followed by point winner Queens River, who makes her rules debut in a weak 2m5f mares' novice hurdle (1.05), and the talented Edwardstone, who will benefit from a predicted fast early pace in the 2m novice chase (1.40).

In-form topweight Guernesey and swift hurdler Getalead should get you through a tricky penultimate leg (2.15), which leaves an ultra-competitive veterans' handicap chase (2.50) to negotiate.

Last year's winner Potters Legend has to be selected, while Fagan has become too well handicapped to ignore for trainer Alex Hales. Minellacelebration, who will appreciate this jumping test, completes the trio.
