US Racing Tips: Shane Ketteridge has two Saturday stateside selections

Coach
10.14pm Oaklawn Park
1pt win

B Sudd
10.40pm Oaklawn Park
1pt each-way

There are some very nice fillies and mares going to post for the Mistletoe Stakes at Oaklawn Park over a mile on dirt and one who stands out is Coach, the Brad Cox-trained filly from stall one. She is already a stakes winner here and could still have more improvement to come.

She was a smart two-year-old and was good enough to run in the Grade 1 Kentucky Oaks at three, but she finished down the field in that hotly contested affair, a race that may have come too soon for her.

Her sights have since been lowered and she is coming along nicely. Connections gave her a six-month break and she returned to reel off back-to-back victories at this course, one of which was over this distance. She is starting to come to herself now she is approaching five years of age so it wouldn't be a surprise if she put in a big performance.

A competitive $104,000 allowance race over six furlongs is the tenth and final race at Oaklawn Park and I like the chances of B Sudd, who is lightly raced and should come on for a third-placed effort at Churchill Downs last month.

Dallas Stewart’s gelded son of Jimmy Creed has had just the five starts and has yet to finish out of the first three with form figures of 31333.

He could be in for a big four-year-old campaign as he has shown a very good level of form in competitive races already and his most recent outing was his first run for several months, so a good amount of improvement can be expected from that. I fancy his chances at a nice price.
