Unexposed type could prove well ahead of his mark at Newbury

Despite being 1lb wrong at the weights, the unexposed Enrichissant has to be of interest off a feather weight after winning with his head in his chest at Huntingdon last week.

The key to him has been the fitting of cheekpieces, along with the return to more positive tactics. When the headgear first went on at Sedgefield last month, he was never far away and pulled clear in second behind Oscar Wilde. That looks strong form, as on his previous start the winner had chased home Fortified Bay, who followed up and goes in the Grimthorpe (3.35 Doncaster), while the third in that race also scored next time.
