There was a turn-up in the King George on Wednesday with the unexposed Clan Des Obeaux beating more established chasers in good style.

The key to his victory was his jumping because he was virtually foot perfect, while every other runner made mistakes and got out of rhythm. That will be the difference between defeat and victory in the Grade 1 Savills Chase at Leopardstown (3.00) too and, at a big price, it could be worth chancing last year's runner-up and subsequent Ryanair winner Balko Des Flos for the in-form Henry de Bromhead.
