Nigel Twiston-Davies, trainer of Bristol De Mai
It will be different ground probably but that's not a worry as he's won well on good ground before – it's just that soft going inconveniences others more. I don't think the track will be a problem either. He's been round Sandown, and although Kempton's not Sandown I'm sure he'll be alright. All's gone well since Haydock. I'm sure they take more out of themselves than it might appear, even when they finish on the bridle, but it didn't get to the bottom of him and he came out of his box roaring when we turned him out the next day

Nicky Henderson, trainer of Might Bite, Top Notch and Whisper
Might Bite is aiming at the race and Whisper could possibly go too but with the owner’s Bristol De Mai in the race I am almost certain their Top Notch will not run – he runs in the Peterborough Chase on Sunday.

Colin Tizzard, trainer of Cue Card, Fox Norton and Thistlecrack
We will see what happens in the Tingle Creek at Sandown on Saturday but there is a good chance Fox Norton will go to Kempton. Cue Card has been left in. He was bright as a button in the run-up to Haydock and is again but was a bit quiet going to the start and in the race. We probably talked up Thistlecrack a bit too much before his Newbury race. I also told Tom [Scudamore] to take him upsides whereas he normally settles fourth or fifth and Thistlecrack tanked along first time out and over hurdles and did too much for two miles but for me he shows all his capabilities are still there. He looks sharper now and I am sure you will see a different horse at Kempton.
