Windsor Placepot tips: Graeme Rodway with his selections for a £50,000 guaranteed pool
Our in-form tipster with his picks for the popular Tote bet

The Tote’s £50,000 Placepot guarantee is at Windsor and the opening 5f handicap (6.00) has eight declared, so it is good for a banker provided they all go. Bretton Wood rates the solid one.
The 5f maiden (6.30) comes up next and this looks tricky. Miss Apres has shown plenty of speed and might be capable of better, while Who Is Alice could build on her promising debut.
The 1m2f novice (7.00) can go to River King, who sets a good standard, but the 6f handicap (7.30) requires two as only seven are due to run. Durham Castle and Stanley Spencer fit the bill.
Star Chorus shaped like returning to six furlongs would suit when coming home well for second over half a furlong shorter at Bath last time and rates a banker in the 6f handicap (8.00).
The last leg is the mile handicap (8.30) and Thyer is one of my best bets of the day, but it’s also worth putting in My Margie.
