Uttoxeter Placepot picks: Paul Kealy's perm for the £150,000 guaranteed pool

If you're reeling from the results at Cheltenham this week, you probably won't be looking forward to another difficult card at Uttoxeter, where the Placepot looks hard.

Below The Radar is the main fancy in the opener (1.50), but it's tough, so I'll add West To The Bridge, who remains well handicapped despite his age and will appreciate the likely conditions, and Wellington Arch, who was second in the William Hill Hurdle and is at least as good at this trip.

A Pai De Nom is the solid one in the next (2.25), having been one of the favourites for the Martin Pipe before not getting in, while Santos Blue has plenty of good form in the mud at this sort of trip.

The strong-staying Git Maker is the principal selection in the Midlands Grand National (3.00), but you have to respect the chances of J'Arrive De L'Est, who has been placed behind good horses in a couple of cross-country races and shapes as though he's an out-and-out stayer.

In the fourth (3.35), As The Fella Says was a comfortable winner last time and is hard to leave out, while Golden Point shapes like a mare very much on the up.

The following novice hurdle (4.10) doesn't look too strong. The in-form Kadastral was beaten a long way by Sober Glory last time, but there's nothing of that calibre here and he should be good enough for a place in the first three at least.

Course-and-distance winner Moor End and the in-form Kalista Love are the suggestions for the final leg (4.45).
