Royal Ascot Placepot tips: Paul Kealy's perm for the £400,000 guaranteed pool on day two

From really liking Zelaina in the Queen Mary (2.30), I have come to the conclusion she is a terrible price and, as she will be very popular in the Placepot, I am leaving her out.
Society Kiss and Spicy Marg have both shown plenty in their winning debuts, while I also like the chances of Irish raider Cardiff By The Sea.
Given Aiden O'Brien's record in the Queen's Vase (3.05), it would be mad not to include one of his, so the Ryan Moore-ridden Shackleton goes in alongside main fancy Pinhole.
Cinderella's Dream and last year's winner Running Lion look the obvious pair in the Duke of Cambridge (3.40), while in the featured Prince of Wales's Stakes (4.20), Map Of Stars, just beaten by Arc favourite Sosie in the Ganay, and See The Fire, who was incredibly impressive at a lower level at York, can serve it up to the front two in the betting.
Bullet Point and Fox Legacy are the two I like most in the Royal Hunt Cup (5.00) but they are drawn on the far side, so I better have a couple of others down the near side.
Arabian Light, a good third to Fox Legacy on his return, can run nicely again, while at a massive price Epictetus could go well for Saffie and Jamie Osborne, having shaped quite well behind favourite My Cloud on his return from a year out. He is 12lb lower than at his peak.
Arolla is very much the main fancy in the final leg (5.35), but we will add 2023 Chesham winner Snellen and Sky Safari for a fair-sized perm to small stakes.

World Pool tip: Urban Lion could roar home in Hunt Cup
I very often play exactas and trifectas in big handicaps at the festivals and last year managed to get four of the first five in the Hunt Cup – the only problem being that I missed the winner.
I shall be having another go on this World Pool day, though, with the four Placepot selections mentioned above (Bullet Point, Fox Legacy, Epictetus and Arabian Light).
It might turn out to be madness leaving out front pair My Cloud and The Liffey, the latter having been backed from huge prices for Joseph O'Brien, but Urban Lion is the final selection.
It may have been only a five-runner affair he won at Sandown on Saturday, but he just keeps on improving and he does have form in bigger fields.
World Pool recommended bet
1 Arabian Light
8 Epictetus
19 Bullet Point
21 Urban Lion
23 Fox Legacy

0.1pt trifectas (60 bet)
