The Tote’s £50,000 Placepot guarantee is at Perth, and the opening 2m4f maiden hurdle (1.40) looks like a good opportunity for a banker. Gee Force Flyer hasn’t finished out of the first three yet and, provided at least eight run, he can do so again.
There are only seven declared for the following 2m4f novice handicap chase (2.10), which makes it tricky. King Roly is one of my bets of the day and is included alongside Barlovento.
The 3m Listed novice hurdle (2.40) is a race to utilise the unnamed favourite alongside likely market leader No Drama This End and Kazansky. If No Drama This End is placed then we will double our lines, but if not he takes out many others and we might stay in with Kazansky.
Using similar logic it’s worth doing the same in the following 3m Listed mares’ chase (3.10) and putting in the unnamed favourite, Panic Attack and Shecouldbeanything. The winner is needed and we double up again if Panic Attack wins, but if she doesn’t we may still stay in.
The 2m handicap chase (3.40) is a puzzle, but Coup De Coeur is consistent and rates a banker, while the 2m4f mares’ handicap hurdle (4.10) may be between Spit Spot and Flying Fortune.
