Newmarket Placepot tips: Graeme Rodway with his selections for the £75,000 guaranteed pool

The Tote are putting up a £75,000 guarantee for the Placepot at Newmarket and the opening 6f handicap (1.50) is wide open. 

The two who take my eye here are Zoulu Chief and Dark Thirty, who won the race two years ago and is nicely handicapped off his last winning mark.

The Feilden Stakes (2.25) is up next and Bourbon Blues is one of my bets of the day. There are only two places here, though, so include the unnamed favourite as the market can guide.

Utilise the unnamed favourite in the following Earl Of Sefton (3.00) alongside Prague and Damysus. If Damysus is placed we double perm, but if not a lot of others will bite the dust.

America Queen and Fitzella are the two who should be included in the Nell Gwyn Stakes (3.35), while the unnamed favourite is included in the 5f maiden for fillies (4.10) alongside Havana Lightning. The market will probably be informative here where no form is on offer.

Lyrics Of Life has some strong form and rates a banker in the mile maiden for fillies (4.45).
