Newcastle Placepot picks: Robbie Wilders' perm for the £50,000 guaranteed pool

You can make cases for plenty in the staying handicap (3.12) that opens the Placepot at Newcastle and the returning Little Peter, who is one from one at the track, goes in alongside Prince Quattro, who is consistent and unexposed on the all-weather. 

Any of the four can win the 7f nursery (3.45), but preference is for course-and-distance winner Urgent Call on this drop back in trip and Luminare, who has more to offer over this trip. 

I'm sure it's going to click for the well-bred Sunlit Sea soon and the 5f nursery (4.15) looks weaker than the last two races she has contested. 

Glamorous Angela improved a stone from her debut when running to a Racing Post Rating of 73 last time and a reproduction of that should be good enough in the mile maiden (4.45). 

Crownthorpe fared best of the prominent racers when fourth at this track recently and looks interesting off such a good mark in the mile handicap (5.15). Fellow well-treated veteran Trais Fluors was one place ahead of him that day and also gets the nod. 

The 7f handicap (5.45) looks a cracking opportunity for Blufferonthebus to complete a hat-trick down in grade.
