Kempton Placepot tips: Graeme Rodway with his selections for a £50,000 guaranteed pool

The Tote’s £50,000 Placepot guarantee is at Kempton on Wednesday and the opening mile handicap (2.20) looks a good opportunity for Mr Fustic to bounce back to form. The other one to have on side is English Lady, who runs this track well and is thriving right now.

Abashiri is going to be a warm order for the mile fillies' maiden (2.50) judging on pedigree. Her dam is a Group 1 winner and her sister English Rose landed a Group 2. William Buick is at the course for only two rides and that makes her banker material.

Only three line up in the 7f fillies’ novice (3.20) and this is a good opportunity to utilise the unnamed favourite. Put in Eliza Bennet and Threshold, plus the unnamed favourite because that covers all angles. If the market leader wins we double up but if it loses more lines go out.

Buick’s other mount on the day is Fort Rock in division one of the 7f novice (3.55), while the second division (4.30) could go to Media Legend, who was fifth behind Fort Rock on his debut over course and distance recently and can build on that. Media Legend rates a banker too.

The 7f handicap (5.00) is the last leg and course winner Wild Nature could go well after a sound run dropped back to this trip at Leicester last time. Longlai is the other to put in.
