Kempton Placepot tips: Graeme Rodway with his selections for a £50,000 guaranteed pool

The Tote’s £50,000 Placepot guarantee moves on to Kempton this evening and the opening 1m4f handicap (4.05) is a good race for a banker on the Sir Mark Prescott filly Westcombe.

The 1m3f maiden (4.40) looks between newcomers Maho Bay and Outflank. Put them both into the perm alongside the unnamed favourite because that way we can double our lines if the market leader is placed, but if it isn’t, then that will take out lots of units. It’s a win-win.

The same approach should be taken in the following 7f novice (5.10), but with Aqpan and Golden View. Put them both in and the unnamed favourite for the reasons already mentioned.

El Bodon is one of my bets of the night and is included in the 6f handicap (5.40), while the following Listed Wild Flower Stakes (6.20) is another race to use the unnamed favourite alongside Dubai Honour and Ancient Wisdom. Only two places will be available in that race.

Echalar and Final Night are my picks in the mile handicap (6.40) and both are included.
