Chepstow Placepot tips: Paul Kealy with his perm for the £75,000 guaranteed pool

A couple of three-year-olds headed the early market for Chepstow's opener (5.30), but Bob Mali ran poorly when last seen, while it's anyone's guess what Addison Grey achieved when winning an awful race at odds of 1-11 last time.

I'm going to take them on for Placepot purposes, with Profit Refused, coming here after back-to-back career bests, readily preferred. Also included are Montezuma and Treacherous, who were both eyecatching in their own way last time.

In the next (6.00), Sword's third to Two Tribes at Ascot looks even better than it did then after the winner's subsequent Stewards' Cup success, while Lir Speciale, back to form when second at Yarmouth last time, has to be considered too.

Sondad is in the form of his life and looks the most solid one in a competitive third (6.30). The fourth (7.00) looks very hard, but three horses well handicapped and running well are Riot, Be Frank and Wobwobwob. In the next (7.30), Existent is virtually impossible to win with these days but is usually on the premises, while Roach Power is still on a handy mark despite a 9lb rise for last month's course-and-distance success, and King Of Bears is beginning to look nicely treated.

Beylerbeyi is 3lb well in under a penalty in the closing leg (8.00), having won very easily five days ago and is hard to leave out. Irish raider Beset, who has run well in good races at Goodwood and the Curragh on her last two starts, is the back-up.
