Bangor Placepot tips: Graeme Rodway with his selections for a £50,000 guaranteed pool
Our top tipster with his picks for the popular Tote bet

The Tote’s £50,000 Placepot guarantee is at Bangor on Wednesday and the opening 2m7f novice hurdle (12.30) is tricky despite only five being declared. Just two places means that a couple are needed, so include In The Age and Skuna Bay, whose trainer Donald McCain excels here.
The following 2m4½f handicap chase (1.00) is more competitive but Margaret’s Legacy has looked like a smart prospect. He should handle soft ground and is fancied to complete a hat-trick.
There are only six in the 2m1½f novice chase (1.30) and this is a good opportunity to utilise the unnamed favourite. Put in Joyeuse and Diva Luna, alongside the favourite to have all angles covered. If the favourite is out the dividend will be bigger, but we double lines if not.
Hold That Taught is one of my bets of the day in the 3m handicap chase (2.00), but he looks too risky to bank on so include The Doyen Chief as well, while the 2m½f junior hurdle (2.30) is between Playful Fox and Network Rgb, who go for the Dan Skelton and Olly Murphy teams respectively.
Division one of the 2m½f novice hurdle (3.00) is the final leg and the Nigel and Willy Twiston-Davies team can take this out with Shabalko D’Herm, who rates another banker.
