Tom Segal backing November Handicap winner to strike over hurdles at Navan

Drop The Anchor is incredibly well handicapped on his old hurdles form, and looks to have a good chance of landing the Navan Handicap Hurdle (1.07) having bounced back to his best when winning the November Handicap on the Flat last time.
He was beaten by less than four lengths when seventh in the 2021 County Hurdle and races off an 11lb lower mark here. Throw in the fact that Aidan Kelly takes a further 7lb off Drop The Anchor, the JP McManus-owned nine-year-old has to go close.
