Tom Segal with a couple of fancies for the big races at Wincanton and Down Royal

Neil Mulholland lost the Badger Ales Trophy at Wincanton (3.20) in unfortunate circumstances two years ago when The Young Master was disqualified, but he bids to right that wrong with three runners this afternoon.

The Young Master is well capable of winning as he's only 2lb higher than when winning the bet365 Gold Cup at Sandown in April, but he is being aimed at the Randox Health Grand National and he surely won't be as primed for this as he was in 2014.

Carole's Destrier struggled last year and would ideally want further, so Mullholland's best chance is with Fingerontheswitch, who gets loads of weight from his stablemates.
