Tom Segal thinks handicapper will bounce back to form in first-time blinkers

Monjeni caught the eye at Kempton in December. He was stopped in his run up the home straight but flew home when he got found some daylight. On that form he is of interest in the Betway Apprentice Handicap (7.30), especially as he had a good record at the track.

It's worth forgetting his last run when he clearly didn't handle the Fibresand at Southwell. With blinkers on for the first time, he could easily bounce back to form in a weak race off a fair handicap mark.
