Tom Collins analyses the credentials of four favourites in the US

Hifalutin
5.45 Tampa Bay Downs
SP forecast 9-5

Seven-race maiden who has finished second once and third on five occasions, so is firmly knocking on the door. Looks an out-and-out sprinter, so the step up in trip to 7f might not help, but she is overdue a first success and this is a very weak race.

Conclusion Can just about last home and finally get off the mark.

Breakthrough
6.35 Gulfstream Park
SP forecast 6-5

Expensive $330,000 yearling purchase who has been working well since early March. Looks a colt who would be sent to Royal Ascot if US challengers are allowed to travel based on the fact he has worked on the turf at Palm Meadows Training Centre.

Conclusion Will make a winning start for trainer Wesley Ward.

Probably Grace
7.09 Gulfstream Park
SP forecast 2-1

Unexposed filly who recorded the best speed figure in this race when winning a similar contest last time out. Had the perfect run through that race, though, and wouldn't be winning this on her previous three efforts. Draw in stall one might not be ideal given speed outside.

Conclusion Prefer Blue Blue Ice and Sizzling Roma. Take her on.

Bardot
8.45 Gulfstream Park
SP forecast 8-5

Daughter of the unbeaten Candy Ride out of a Medaglia D'Oro mare, Bardot is bred for a mile-plus but made a good start to her career over 6½f at this track early last month when prominent throughout. Only found one too good that day and should have progressed since.

Conclusion Not a race that I would bet in but she looks the likeliest winner.
