Three-year-old should be hard to beat getting chunks of weight

David Simcock's three-year-old ran three nice races in maidens and would probably have got off the mark in his first handicap had he not been held up so far back at Haydock and then met trouble.

He made no mistake when bolting up in a weak maiden at Brighton next time and while this demands a lot more, his trainer described him as a "work in progress" and added: "I quite like him."
