'This has been Alfie Spinner’s target since he finished second'

Neil King, trainer of Milansbar
He went to Chepstow the last two years with me thinking the Welsh National was tailor-made for him, and it didn’t happen. He’s been disappointing there. We’ve put an entry in as an option. He goes for the London National at Sandown on Saturday week, and then we’ll make a decision. At the moment it’s an option rather than a firm target.

Richard Hobson, trainer of Chic Name
He's had a bit of a setback with a cut leg, but doesn't take much to get fit and we hope to run him. He stays all day and loves sloppy ground.

Tim Vaughan, trainer of Looksnowtlikebrian and Tanit River
They've both got staying pedigrees and both are progressing. Looksnowtlikebrian is in great old shape, and we’re going straight there with him. I wouldn’t want to take the risk of him picking up a penalty. The softer the ground the better for him. He’s a nice horse. Tanit River is a very talented horse. He can throw in some spectacular runs and then follow them with disappointing efforts. When he’s on-song he’s a real performer and can deliver. He’s a rhythm horse, and Chepstow suits him well.
