Thirsk Placepot picks: Paul Kealy ventures north for the perm on Friday

There's sure to be plenty or non-runners in the south after all the rain so for Placepot purposes I'll be concentrating on the north and Thirsk's card is fairly appealing.
In the opener (1.15), ran much his best race here two starts ago and has to be included. He did miss the break next time though, so , who has been running quite well at his level, goes in as well.
In the next (1.45) has comfortably the best form and should make the first three at least, while , sure to benefit from another furlong, also looks banker material in the third (2.20).
The next (2.55) couldn't be any tighter, but ran a blinder on his first start after being gelded last time and is a course winner, while keeps hitting the frame in decent races, and ought to be a player if fit after a short break.
I'll go with three in the next as well (3.30), as while is a strong fancy, it is a competitive 14-runner handicap. has been running well for ages, while has plenty of decent form here and could go close at a price.
That just leaves a tricky Class 6 three-year-old handicap (4.00), in which one of the consistent pair or will hopefully get the job done.
