There's Cheltenham value out there if the ground goes on the soft side

All week everyone has been talking about whether the ground was going to need to be watered during or after racing at Cheltenham this week and the clerk of the course put plenty of water
on the New course last weekend.

However, since then the weather has changed and there is plenty of rain forecast for the middle of the week, and I always think rain on the day of the race is totally different to rain in the run-up to it.

Just look at Sandown on Saturday – the overnight rain totally changed the complexion of the races.
