The Stalking Moon fairly treated on her nursery debut1.55 Doncaster

This juvenile has generally been progressive despite needing four attempts to break her maiden and she showed plenty of promise when building on her debut second at Catterick with sixth in a 7f maiden at Glorious Goodwood in July.

That was a hot race won by subsequent Group 2 scorer Rhododendron and The Stalking Moon was beaten only a length by the now 82-rated Robben Rainbow on her next start in a 6f Ripon maiden. A literal interpretation of that form suggests the selection is fairly treated off 72 here.
