The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with two to follow on Wednesday
BANKER
Dutiful Son(12.30 Lingfield)
The form horse of this seller, Dutiful Son comes into the race seeking to follow up a recent course-and-distance success for trainer Simon Dow when he just clung on in the final stride to take the victory from the well handicapped Mansfield. That runner was smashed in to 13-8 favouritism that day and connections clearly thought he would land the gamble. Has been hit with a 10lb rise for that win but this contest is much easier and it would be disappointing if he didn't score.
EYECATCHER
Kohinoor Diamond(1.00 Lingfield)
This Sir Mark Prescott-trained filly has been disappointing since getting off the mark on handicap debut at Chelmsford in October, with sixth and second-place finishes when fancied in the market. No doubt she'll be towards the head of the betting again but I'm willing to give her another chance with first-time blinkers applied, as well as a nice racing weight of 8st 10lb. She's pretty awkward when put under pressure but she does run on and hopefully Luke Morris can coax her home.
