The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with two to follow on Thursday

BANKER

Universal Command (5.00 Kempton)

Roger Charlton is absolutely flying at the moment (7-16, 44 per cent strike-rate in the last two weeks) and he has two really nice, improving handicappers on his hands in the shape of True Destiny (runs in 8.15 at Chelmsford) and Universal Command. The former is likely to be very short so unless you're doubling them up, Universal Command is the better play. The son of Delegator has improved for moving into handicap company over longer trips and won with plenty in hand last time out. He's 10lb higher here but further progression is almost guaranteed and this track should suit him well.

EYECATCHER

Sweet Nature(8.45 Chelmsford)

There are a few in-form runners in this race and it will be no walk in the park, but William Haggas's Sweet Nature will improve for the step up in trip (strong in the finish when winning last time over two furlongs shorter) and looks well handicapped off a mark of 67. She looked beat for much of her last run at Newcastle, but picked up well inside the last furlong to beat a well-fancied rival. The runner-up has subsequently filled the same berth on handicap debut off a mark of 71, suggesting that Sweet Nature could be rated to strike in her follow-up bid.
