The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with two to follow on Thursday
EYECATCHER
Cottersrock(2.40 Catterick)
Martin Keighley's charge has shown some promise in his last two starts since being fitted with blinkers and despite his form figures looking rather ropey, he takes a class drop and is the best horse in the race. Those efforts came under today's rider Harry Stock over hurdles, but the return to fences should see him in a better light. He won a beginners' chase when rated 137 (RPR of 132) in October last year, and the handicapper has been lenient in the meantime as he competes off a mark of 110 here.
DARK HORSE
Asbury Boss(12.50 Leopardstown)
With only three starts over hurdles and without a win to his name in the sphere, Asbury Boss is likely to be overlooked. However, the six-year-old, who carries a nice racing weight of 10st 2lb, showed he has plenty of ability when finishing second in a Down Royal maiden hurdle won by the talented Poli Roi, and a mark of 123 could be lenient.
