The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with two to follow on Thursday
BANKER
Magical Ride(4.20 Yarmouth)
Richard Spencer's four-year-old son of Paco Boy stamped himself as a surefire future winner when going close in a Lingfield handicap on his penultimate outing, only beaten a neck by Fighting Temeraire and pulling six lengths clear of the field. He duly lost his maiden tag off the same mark of 55 last time out over a mile here last week and despite a 9lb rise in the weights, his performance that day suggests he's still very well treated. Spencer has booked good apprentice Sean Kirrane, who takes 7lb off his back, and anything but a victory would be a surprise.
DARK HORSE
Narjes is never one to put your full faith in, but she's likely to go off at a decent price and should appreciate the return to 1m2f on a track she handles well. Laura Mongan's mare needs delivering late but there looks to be enough pace on here for her late charge to prove good enough and provide Luke Morris with a timely winner. She has shown signs of being ready to strike over a mile the last twice and is just 2lb higher than when last successful.
