BANKER

Quick Look(2.50 Nottingham)

Mick Easterby's four-year-old has been running well since a mid-summer break and won very impressively when last seen on the track at Catterick nine days ago. The hold-up performer is effective over five and six furlongs – today's trip isn't a worry – and won with his head in his chest last time out. He's technically 2lb well-in here as he's running under a penalty instead of his 8lb rise gifted to him by the handicapper, and David Allan should be in the winner's enclosure once more.

EYECATCHER

Bird For Life(7.10 Kempton)

This daughter of Delegator is still unexposed with just seven starts to her name and ran a career best over course and distance last time out when fourth. She was very keen on that occasion under Nicola Currie, but stayed on well close to home and was gaining on the three in front of her all the way to the line. She's been allowed to race off the same mark today and this looks a relatively weak contest.

DARK HORSE

Attest(3.55 Nottingham)

You can boil this race down to three runners: Attest, Speciality and England Expects. The latter, likely to go off favourite, has been seen to good effect over this trip recently with two runner-up efforts, but he keeps finding one to beat him, while Speciality is an unknown quantity on his first start for Ralph Beckett. However, Attest looks the play. The 125-rated hurdler looks to have plenty of movement off his Flat mark of 74 and given the form he was in this summer, he can give Adam Elias his first winner as a jockey.
