The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with three to follow on Tuesday

BANKER

Buzz Lightyere (5.00 Brighton)

Philip Hide's course regular has scored twice from seven starts for his new trainer this year and can follow up his recent course-and-distance success under talented claimer Sebastian Woods. He effectively gets to race off a 1lb higher mark once Woods' 3lb allowance is taken into consideration and he is very game in front, allowing his jockey to kick for home as they turn into the straight.

EYECATCHER

Manton Grange (4.15 Kempton)

Very consistent 83-rated son of Siyouni who looked absolutely certain to score at Windsor last time out when sent off as the 10-11 favourite, but didn't stay out the mile trip to great effect and got repassed by the game Shifting Star. Back down to seven furlongs and with the application of first-time cheekpieces, the George Baker-trained gelding can go close under Trevor Whelan.

DARK HORSE

Orin Swift (5.10 Yarmouth)

Still very unexposed, the Jonathan Portman-trained Orin Swift is likely to be ignored in the market with other potential improvers coming from more fashionable stables in the race, but he boasts one piece of form that should interest punters. That came when fourth in a 1m2f median auction maiden at Windsor in May behind the now 88-rated Chiefofchiefs. The winner as scored twice since; the second, Jake's Hill, is now rated 104 and has finished third in Listed company, while the third, sixth, eighth, ninth and tenth have also scored subsequently. The step back in trip is a massive plus and he has every chance.
