The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with two to follow on Tuesday

BANKER

Michele Strogoff(6.30 Wolverhampton)

Mick Appleby's eight-year-old certainly knows how to win (eight career victories) and this drop to Class 3 company – the level at which he was successful three starts ago – can help him add another win to his tally. That recent victory came over this course and distance, where he broke well and made every yard of the running to win by an impressive two and a half lengths. Both the second and third have won subsequently, giving the form a nice boost, and he's just 3lb higher today. Hopefully he can adopt the same tactics today.

GOOD THING

Ulster(7.00 Wolverhampton)

Archie Watson's almost-white gelding has impressed me in two runs this year, beating a highly regarded first-time-out winner at Kempton over 1m4f on his reappearance before fending off seven runners over the same course and distance last time out. The form of his most recent start has been boosted by the second, who won last week, and now he enters handicap company off a mark of 87. Judged on his RPRs and visual display, I'd say he's well handicapped off that mark and should make it three wins from three starts this year.
