The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with three to follow on Sunday
BANKER
Polydream(1.10 Chantilly)
Freddy Head's juvenile has been extremely impressive in her two career starts, routing her opposition on both occasions. Nudged out to score on debut by two lengths at Deauville in July, she returned a month later to land the Group 3 Prix du Calvados with ease, beating subsequent May Hill winner Laurens by just under two lengths. The step up to a mile is a positive, she handles give in the ground and looks a top class filly.
EYECATCHER
Golden Wolf (4.20 Epsom)
Still a very lightly-raced three-year-old, Golden Wolf has never been outside of the first four in seven career starts and could easily have more improvement in him. Rated 80, the Richard Hughes-trained son of Big Bad Bob has to given a patient ride and will look to weave between runners inside the final couple of furlongs, but he has loads of ability as proven when he routed seven rivals in his maiden victory at Lingfield. The step up to 1m4f should suit and he's proven with give in the ground.
IRISH ANGLE
Whirling Dervish (1.50 Tipperary)
Aidan O'Brien has entered three of his lower-ranked juveniles in this contest and despite having won the contest three times in the last seven years, his runners will struggle to beat the Jessica Harrington-trained Whirling Dervish. Sent off an unconsidered 25-1 shot on debut, he looked like finishing last of five during the early stages of that contest after breaking slowly and being ridden early on. However, he stuck to his task well and finished third behind two potential Group horses. If he ran to that form he would probably win this, but given he's going to improve for the effort, he looks a shoe-in.
