Carlos Laffon-Parias has a good one on his hands in Recoletos, who has won six of 12 starts, and he has a huge chance of winning this Group 1 Prix du Moulin. Boasting a 100 per cent record at this track – won the Prix d'Ispahan in May – Recoletos arrives here in the form of his life and was only touched off by the marvellous Alpha Centauri when last seen finishing second in the Jacques le Marois. He was over three lengths clear of the third that day and a repeat performance should see him win this slightly easier contest.
