The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with one to follow on Friday
BIG-RACE BANKER
Road To Respect (3.00 Leopardstown)
Winner of this race last year when causing an 8-1 shock (Sizing John and Yorkhill well beaten), the Noel Meade-trained gelding has proven himself a proper Grade 1 horse and a repeat bid here will have been the target since finishing third in the Punchestown Gold Cup in April. Baring that in mind, he was super impressive on his return to action last month when hacking up in the JNWine Champion Chase at Down Royal when probably not 100 per cent fit and ready to go. This year's edition of the race looks easier than 12 months ago, which is another plus, and he rates the star bet of the day.
