The Punt Daily: Tom Collins' free horse racing tips on Wednesday afternoon

BANKER

Floressa(2.55 Worcester)

One of my five jumpers to follow this season, Floressa posted two really eyecatching performances in bumpers last season, winning the first (runner-up won next time, while the third has recorded a hat-trick since) before taking second in a competitive affair at Cheltenham. She only caught on the line that day and is unlucky not to have an unbeaten record coming into this season. She now goes hurdling, which should bring about improvement, and Nicky Henderson has started the season is fine form.

EYECATCHER

Grain Of Sense (3.05 Newmarket)

Damage Control is the clear formsetter in this novice event but he could be vulnerable to a big improver and Grain Of Sense fits the bill for trainer Ralph Beckett. This son of Teofilo was completely forgotten about in the market before running in an above-average race at Newmarket earlier this month and seemed to learn plenty on the job. He broke slowly and ran green in the early stages, but stayed on powerfully to take third behind a smart Godolphin inmate and the reopposing Arthurian Fable. It would be disappointing if he couldn't reverse the form with that rival granted natural improvement and the ground shouldn't prove a problem.
