The Punt Daily: Tom Collins' free horse racing tips on Tuesday afternoon
BANKER
Kissesforkatie(1.40 Exeter)
This looks a pretty hot novice hurdle but Jeremy Scott's Kissesforkatie is well up to featuring in the finish based on her bumper form last year and looks the value bet in the contest. Winner on rules debut at Bangor last October, Kissesforkatie went on to take third and fourth in two Listed bumpers, before coming home a respectable sixth of 20 in a Grade 2 at Aintree. She is 0-2 since going hurdling but shaped with plenty of promise behind a smart Paul Nicholls-trained runner at Chepstow last time and should relish the drop in trip.
GOOD THING
Janika(2.10 Exeter)
Extremely unlucky not to win last season in four starts, Janika deserves to win a race of this nature and should hold sound claims if turning up fit for his return to action. Placed in a couple of Grade 3 handicap chases off topweight at the start of 2019, which is no mean feat, Janika went on to showcase his jumping prowess when fourth of 27 in the Topham at Aintree on his final outing. He has to give weight away to his rivals again and the drop in trip probably isn't ideal, but he has the class to score at this level and is proven when fresh.
