The Punt Daily: Tom Collins' free horse racing tips on Thursday afternoon

BANKER

(12.50 Ludlow)

Hughie Morrison has a fantastic record with his horses in bumpers and novice hurdles, including a 29 per cent strike-rate (2-7) at this track in the last five years, and Moon Of Baroda can enhance that statistic. Previously with Charlie Hills on the Flat, Moon Of Baroda reached a decent level (mid 70s rating) but showed instant improvement for the switch of yards and codes when an eyecatching second of 16 on hurdling debut in November. He proved he goes on rain-softened ground that day and just happened to bump into a good one. He appears to have just one realistic rival in this race (Hijack) but gets 6lb from that runner.

DARK HORSE

(2.45 Market Rasen)

Irish-trained mare who fairly dotted up on debut at Fairyhouse in April (multiple subsequent winners in behind) before taking her record to two-from-two with a strong-staying success at Cork in November after a 194-day break, beating the consistent Getaway Gorgeous. She clearly wasn't right last time when tried in a Listed contest but was sent off at just 5-2 that day, so is clearly highly regarded, and is worth another look with Tom Queally getting the leg up.
