BIG-RACE BANKER

(3.00 Cheltenham)

Trainer Fergal O'Brien has a good record at Cheltenham and he looks to have an exceptional chance of landing the feature Greatwood Hurdle with Benny's Bridge. Often held-up, Benny's Bridge travelled like a well-handicapped horse when last seen over this course and distance, surging clear up the run-in for an easy eight-length win. He is 13lb higher today but won with such ease that he could probably defy this tougher mark if the race pans out perfectly for him. There looks to be some early pace on, which will suit, and he is unbeaten in two runs here.

EYECATCHER

(12.45 Cheltenham)

An unexposed hurdler who fairly dotted up at Hereford last time after being well backed before the off. He didn't jump well but still stayed on powerfully to win with authority and suggested a step up in trip would suit. He gets that here and although this is much tougher than that novice event, he could be leniently treated off a mark of 120.
