Three Grade 1 winners and a Grade 2 scorer line-up in this year's 1965 Chase, yet all of them have something to prove. Dashel Drasher is perhaps the form play but tends to jump out to his left and will be partnered by Rex Dingle for the first time. I prefer the claims of seven-time Grade 1-winner Defi Du Seuil, who didn't perform anywhere near his best last year when the Philip Hobbs stable was under a cloud. The yard is in much better form now, the pace of this race should suit and he has won twice when fresh.

Three-year-old Piselli Molli, who won well last time out, is sure to be well found in the market for this mile handicap for leading connections. You can make a strong case for her but the draw hasn't been helpful (stall 11) and it could be worth looking elsewhere for a bit of value. Impressive Salisbury debut winner Undertheboardwalk catches the eye as she takes a marked drop in grade after running in the Boadicea Stakes. She's drawn nicely in stall four, should be more competitive in handicap company and a mark of 80 looks fair.
