The Punt Daily: Tom Collins' free horse racing tips for Thursday's French action

BANKER

Raabihah (10.10 Longchamp)

This doesn't look the hottest Listed contest to kick off proceedings at Longchamp and I would be surprised if the Jean-Claude Rouget-trained Raabihah didn't maintain her unbeaten record. Owned by Sheikh Hamdan, this well-bred daughter of Sea The Stars showed signs of inexperience on debut at Cagnes-sur-Mer in January but justified strong market support to win going away at the line. She finished powerfully over 1m1f that day, which suggests the step up in trip will suit, and should have improved for a four-month layoff.

GOOD THING

Arapaho (12.10 Longchamp)

A highly-regarded son of Lope De Vega, Arapaho represents the powerful team of Andre Fabre and Coolmore and won impressively on his first two outings last season, the second at just 1-5. It was disappointing that he was beaten on his sole other start when second in a Listed contest at Deauville, but the winner has since proven himself to be a smart prospect and the third has subsequently won a Group 3 contest for Godolphin. He doesn't have the nicest action but it's quite effective.
