Was well backed at Newbury last time when racing on and off the bridle, but looked a menace turning for home only to fade into third. His last two efforts have come on heavy ground but it shouldn't be as testing today, which will suit over this 3m1f trip, and a 2lb drop in the weights since his last run should help him get back into the winner's enclosure.
