Didn't feature in either of those but wasn't beaten too far and has proved he has plenty of ability in three runs over hurdles this year. Ran a useful rival close on his reappearance, wasn't beaten miles by the extremely talented Thebannerkingrebel on his penultimate start before hacking up when last seen. That form is good enough to win this race and a mark of 124 could prove very lenient.
