Well-bred but quirky four-year-old who finally put everything together when getting off the mark at the ninth attempt when last seen. Fox Shinji has always appeared to have plenty of talent but never produced on the track and a gelding operation in the spring might be the making of him. A 5lb rise in the weights won't be enough to stop him and he's already proved that he handles this track when fourth off a layoff on his penultimate start.
