An 11-race maiden who was sent off as the short-priced favourite in three novice events for former trainer Roger Varian to begin his career. He finished in the places on those occasions and has often looked a tricky ride, but his mark has fallen all the way down to 54 (was rated 85 last December) and he had no luck in running at all when heavily backed last time out. Spreadsheet finished his race off powerfully without being asked for maximum effort and has to be strongly considered in this weak race.
