Gordon Elliott's gelding had a fantastic first season for current connections in 2018, notching two victories and four further places before having his sights set at Graded races. He travelled like a dream at the Cheltenham Festival when sent of a well-backed 8-1 shot for the County Hurdle and came to the last jump in the lead, but he stepped at it and unshipped Jack Kennedy. He returned after a summer break with a fine runner-up effort on chase debut at Punchestown, beaten by the smart Notebook, and will come on a great deal for that effort. Hopefully he will make it second-time lucky in this sphere.
