She showed clear signs of improvement despite being stuffed nine lengths by subsequent winner Khayzaraan on her next outing, before winning as she liked last time over this course and distance. That form was boosted when the second filled the same berth at Chantilly yesterday. Although she returns from a 235-day absence and looks second string on jockey bookings, Black Fever should be clear favourite for this contest and can get her three-year-old campaign off to the best possible start.
