This homebred Dark Angel colt was largely overlooked in the market (sent off at 20-1) ahead of his debut at Salisbury but bellied big odds with a strong late surge to see off the talented and experienced Buoyant. Ribhi recorded a time over a second quicker than the first division of that novice event and looked a star in the making. Trainer Marcus Tregoning's horses have hit form and a straight 7f should be right up Ribhi's street.
